Artist Statement

As a multidisciplinary creative artist, my goal is to inspire and challenge audiences through meaningful, immersive, and boundary-pushing performances. I am constantly seeking new and unconventional ways to tell stories. I seek material that pushes the boundaries of traditional theater to create unique and unforgettable experiences.

I strive to create work that reflects these values. I am particularly interested in exploring the intersections between different art forms and disciplines and finding ways to create immersive and interactive experiences that engage audiences on multiple levels. This approach helps to create a more meaningful and impactful connection between the audience, the art, and the story.

My quest to build a positive, inclusive & uplifting artistic environment for myself and my collaborators is what guides my practice. Suppose we want to enact change with our audience. In that case, we, as artists and the greater entertainment industry, need to enact the change within our own systems and structures by prioritizing inclusivity, diversity, and representation. A diverse and representative group of artists leads to more dynamic and nuanced performances. It is our responsibility as storytellers and artists to shed light on issues that are often overlooked or marginalized. I want my work to encourage a profound level of empathy and understanding.
